UNOR™ Giardia Antigen Test Kit For Dogs/Cats (GIA Ag Test)
Basic Info
【Principle of Inspection】
The test kit utilizes rapid immunochromatographic technology. Diluted sample is added to the sample well of the test strip. If the sample contains Gia duodenalis antigen, it will bind specifically to the anti-Gia duodenalis monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold, forming a complex that migrates along the chromatographic membrane.
【Storage conditions and expiration date】

HOW TO USE
1. Sample to be tested: Cat/Dog feces.
2. The sample should be tested on the same day. Samples that cannot be tested on the same day should be refrigerated, and if more than 24 hours have passed, they should be frozen.
3. Please follow the diagram to collect the sample. Excessive sample can cause false positive results.
【Start Testing】
1. Before using all reagents, they must be brought to room temperature (15-30°C).
2. Tear off the aluminum film of the sample dilution tube and place it on the workbench.
3. Use a cotton swab to collect an appropriate amount of cat feces sample (about the size of a green bean) and insert it into the collection tube containing the sample dilution solution.
4. Rotate the cotton swab for about 10 seconds to thoroughly mix the sample with the sample dilution solution.
5. Squeeze the walls of the extraction tube with your fingers to remove as much solution as possible from the cotton swab, then cover the dropper and let it stand for 2 minutes.
7. Read the results within 10-15 minutes. Results read after 15 minutes are considered invalid.
2. Negative: Indicates that GIA virus may not be present in the sample. It is recommended to have regular testing.
3. Invalid: Indicated by improper operation or other reasons resulting in no result. It is recommended to re-operate according to the instructions. If the problem persists, immediately stop using this batch of product and contact the local supplier.
