UNOR™ Heartworm Antigen Test Kit For Dogs (CHW Ag Test)
Basic Info
【Principle of Inspection】
This product utilizes rapid immune chromatography technology to preliminarily determine whether CHW antigens are present in the dog's body. After adding the sample to the sample well of the test strip card, the CHW antigens in the sample will specifically bind with the colloidal gold-labeled antibody, forming a complex that moves along the chromatography membrane and is captured by the pre-coated antibodies.

HOW TO USE
【Sample Requirements】
1. Sample for testing: Whole blood/serum/plasma (Do not use hemolyzed or hyperlipidemic samples).
2. The sample should be tested on the same day; samples that cannot be tested on the same day should be refrigerated, and if more than 24 hours have elapsed, they should be frozen.
3. Whole blood should be collected in anticoagulant tubes, and the sample should not be frozen. It can be refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 3 days.
【Testing method】
1. Before using all reagents, they must be brought to room temperature (15~30°C).
2. Place the test card on a horizontal tabletop.
3. Using a micropipette, pipette a drop of canine blood sample (serum, plasma ≈ 10µl, whole blood ≈ 20µl) vertically into the sample well.
4. Add 2 drops (≈ 20-25µl/drop) of buffer solution to the sample well. Start the timer.
5. Read the results within 10-15 minutes. Results read after 15 minutes are considered invalid.
【Result Judgment】
1. Positive: Indicates that the sample may contain CHW antigens, and it is recommended to have a follow-up examination at a veterinary hospital.
2. Negative: Indicates that the sample may not contain CHW antigens, and it is recommended to have regular testing.
3. Invalid: Indicates improper operation or other reasons causing no result. It is recommended to reoperate according to the instructions. If the problem persists, discontinue the use of this batch of product immediately and contact the local supplier.
