【Principle of Inspection】
This antigen rapid detection test strip utilizes an immunochromatographic double-antibody sandwich detection technology, and gold nanoparticle technology with an optimally uniform particle size for enhanced sensitivity and accuracy. The Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus Antigen test kit utilizes the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay to qualitatively detect the Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus antigen in cat fecal samples.

【Storage conditions and expiration date】
1. Stored at 2-30°C, the validity period is 24 months. Avoid direct sunlight, do not freeze. The test paper should be used as soon as possible within 1 hour after opening the aluminum foil bag.
2. See the label for the production batch number and expiration date.

HOW TO USE

【Sample Requirements】
1. Test sample: cat feces.
2. Samples should be tested on the same day; samples that cannot be tested on the same day should be stored in cold storage, and those that exceed 24 hours should be stored in a freezer.
3. Please collect samples according to the schematic diagram, too many samples will cause false positive results.

【Testing method】
1. Before using all reagents, they must first be brought to room temperature (15~30℃).
2. Tear open the aluminum foil of the sample dilution collection tube and place it on the workbench.
3. Take an appropriate amount of cat fecal sample (about the size of a green bean) with a cotton swab and insert it into the collection tube containing the sample dilution solution.
4. Rotate the cotton swab for about 10 seconds to thoroughly mix the sample with the sample dilution solution.
5. Squeeze the walls of the extraction tube with your fingers to remove as much of the solution from the cotton swab as possible, then cover the dropper and let it stand for 2 minutes.
6. Take out the test card and place it on a level table, slowly add 3 drops of the sample mixture into the sample hole.
7. Read the result within 10-15 minutes, any reading after 15 minutes is considered invalid.

【Result Judgment】

1. Positive: Indicates that the FIPV virus may be present in the sample. It is recommended to have a follow-up examination at a reputable pet hospital.
2. Negative: Indicates that the FIPV virus may not be present in the sample. It is recommended to undergo regular testing.
3. Invalid: Indicates that the test result is inconclusive due to improper operation or other reasons. It is recommended to reoperate according to the instructions. If the issue persists, discontinue the use of this batch of products and contact the local supplier immediately.
